Short Biography
Qilin Zhang (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electrical information engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, in 2009, the M.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, USA, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ, USA, in 2016. He is currently a Research Scientist with DeepNight (Y Combinator W24). He was previously a Computational Imaging Research Engineer with Apple, Cupertino, CA, USA; a Senior Research Scientist with the ABB Corporate Research Center, Raleigh, NC, USA; and a Senior Research Engineer and Lead Research Engineer with HERE Technologies, Chicago, IL, USA. His research interests include computer vision, machine learning, artificial intelligence, computational imaging and photography, autonomous driving, mapping and localization, image processing, video analytics, and neural networks.
